The <br /> Planning Commission, at their May 18th <br /> meeting, directed Staff to draft a <br /> resolution allowing for 185 square feet <br /> of sign area which was arrived at based <br /> on the demonstrated need by the <br /> applicant and also based on the size of <br /> the other signage in the Mounds View <br /> Square Shopping Center. <br /> The applicants spoke of the need for <br /> larger signage due to the competition <br /> with Block Buster Video in Blaine, <br /> Columbia Heights and the new facility on <br /> I-35E and Highway 96.
