QUARTERLY REPORT - 2ND QUARTER 1994 - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> Planning <br /> * Completed the review and platting of property involved in the <br /> Multi-Tech, C.G. Hill and Westminster projects. <br /> * Worked with Housing Intern to establish criteria to be included <br /> in Housing Stock Analysis. <br /> * Completed draft of updated Nuisance Ordinance (to be distributed <br /> in late July/early August) . <br /> * Processed Planning Commission Cases as necessary. <br /> * Attended National Conference of the American Planning <br /> Association. <br /> * Assisted with City Clean-Up Day held in early May. <br /> Housing <br /> * Developed survey sheets for field inspections . <br /> * Completed 75% of field inspections of Single Family Homes. <br /> * Met with other governmental agencies to discuss available <br /> housing rehabilitation programs . <br /> * Attended conference sponsored by NAHRO (National Association for <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Officials) . <br /> Code Enforcement <br /> * Hired Joyce Pruitt as Planning Associate. <br /> * Began proactive code enforcement activities. <br /> * Met with representatives of Apple Valley to discuss computer <br /> software package for tracking code violations (hope to purchase <br /> for use in Mounds View) . <br /> * Assisted Community Development Coordinator in drafting updated <br /> Nuisance Ordinance. <br /> Building Inspections <br /> * A total of 208 building, heating and plumbing permits were <br /> issued during the Quarter. Additionally, yearly inspections of <br /> rental properties were completed in late June. <br /> * Attended conferences sponsored by ICBO on a variety of building <br />
