1995 PROGRAM/PERFORMANCE BUDGET <br /> DIVISION WASTEWATER PROGRAM UNDERGROUND INSPECTION <br /> FUNDING SOURCE WASTEWATER <br /> PROGRAM PURPOSE <br /> Provide underground inspection for the city's sanitary sewer system. <br /> PROGRAM SUMMARY <br /> After cleaning, the employees in the division will televise underground sanitary sewer mains, recommend appropriate <br /> rehabilitation methods, and document investigations. The city's infrastructure consist of approximately thirty six (36) <br /> miles of underground sewer mains and over nine hundred (900) manholes. A Capital expenditure requested for 1995 <br /> flow monitoring equipment ($ 5,000). <br /> 1995 PROGRAM OBJECTIVES <br /> Objections of this program are to inspect the sanitary sewer mains to ensure proper functioning of the system. In <br /> providing this inspection the division can locate infiltration, possible sump pump discharge, root infiltration, broken <br /> pipes and manholes in need of rehabilitation. <br /> 1995 PROGRAM PERFORMANCE MEASURES <br /> 1. Clean and Televise 1/5 of the City's sanitary sewer system. <br /> 2. Provide residents with information regarding service obstructions. <br /> 3. Develop a Sanitary Sewer maintenance and inspection program. <br />
