1995 PROGRAM/PERFORMANCE BUDGET <br /> DIVISION SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM SYSTEM MAINTENANCE <br /> FUNDING SOURCE SWM FUND <br /> PROGRAM PURPOSE <br /> The division will provide maintenance and repair of the City's storm sewer system. <br /> PROGRAM SUMMARY <br /> The division will utilize inhouse staff and equipment and contractual forces to maintain catch basins, underground <br /> pipe, control structures, ditches and ponds. A new backhoe is requested for 1995 to replace the present one. This <br /> expenditure is proposed to be funded by three (3) divisions 1/3 SWM, 1/3 Water, and 1/3 Sewer equally. A portable <br /> concrete mixer is requested for repair of catch basin manholes, this purchase is proposed to be funded equally 1/3 <br /> SWM, 1/3 Sewer, 1/3 Parks. Ditch and retention pond cleaning will be needed in this and future years program. <br /> This program is funded with 1/3 full time equivalent. This program is Surface Water Management Fund supported. <br /> 1995 PROGRAM OBJECTIVES • <br /> The division's objectives are to maintain the City's drainage system to ensure an effective functioning system. <br /> 1995 PROGRAM PERFORMANCE;MEASURES <br /> 1. Staff will clean all catch basins after rainfalls within eight (8) hours. <br /> 2. Staff will conduct an inventory of all drainage easements, ditches, and ponds, prioritize them, and schedule <br /> maintenance based on needs, resources and available funding. <br /> 3. Staff will clean and inspect five (5) miles of storm sewer pipe. <br /> 4. Staff will inspect and repair one hundred (100) of the City's catch basin manholes. <br />
