The prices and recommendation <br />for purchase approval is provided below: <br />APRON APPROACH MOWER <br />Toro 216 $10,985 (2.wheel) <br />11,985 (3 wheel) <br />Jacobsen Tri King $14,590 <br />Cushman $9,450 (gas) <br />12,260 (diesel) <br />Kurt wishes to purchase the Jacobsen Tri King even though it is the most <br />expensive for these reasons: <br />* The parts and service is available through Northstar Turf which is <br />only 5 miles away. <br />* It has hydraulically driven reels for ease of maintenance <br />* Jacobsen has a reputation of high level of service and <br />dependability. <br />Mary S.:r'o , Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve the purchase of the Jacobsen Tri King Apron Approach Mower ($14,590), the Jacobsen demo Riding Tee <br />Mower ($10,645), the Jacobsen Fertilizer Spreader ($2950), the Toro Hand Greens Mower demo ($2375), and the <br />Jacobsen Riding Greens Mower ($12,800) for a total of $43,249 to be funded with Golf Course Fund monies from <br />Bond Revenues. <br />
