Report of Councilmembers: <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Councilmember Quick - absent <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Councilmember Blanchard <br /> 11 - Groundbreaking took place last week for Multi-Tech <br /> 12 and that the Council is very, very happy to have them <br /> 13 expanding in Mounds View and wishes Multi-Tech a great <br /> 14 deal of success. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Councilmember Wuori: <br /> 17 - Last weekend was opening weekend for Mounds View Community <br /> 18 Theater's play, "Oliver" . Tickets are available for the next <br /> 19 two weekends. Opening weekend went very well. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Councilmember Trude stated that she enjoyed participating in <br /> 22 the parade and in Festival In The Park. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Report of Administrator: <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Samantha Orduno reported that she will be out of the office <br /> 27 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday attending the LMC Strategic Planning <br /> 28 Session in Bemidji. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Report of Mayor Linke: <br /> 31 <br /> 32 a. The Festival In the Park was held July 17. The Fire Department won <br /> 33 the trophy in the baseball game defeating the Mounds View Police <br /> 34 Department. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 b. Mayor Linke thanked all of the persons involved with planning the <br /> 37 parade. Linke stated that 52 units participated in the parade. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 c. Linke stated that the Festival went very well for all vendors. The <br /> 40 only negative statement that the Mayor received was that there <br /> 41 were no fireworks. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 d.
