Wilson 07111) <br /> Executive Director <br /> SUBJECT: 1994 Municipal Grant Application <br /> The Cable Commission is again making funds available for grants to cities, <br /> with the grants to be used to purchase equipment for the municipal access channel or to <br /> produce a program or series of programs. Allowable expenses for the latter include hiring <br /> a free-lance producer and/or purchasing videotapes;props or other supplies for the <br /> program. <br /> With the application, I have included,a copy of the Commission's policy on <br /> the municipal grants program. Please note that one of the requirements to be eligible for a <br /> grant is adoption by the city council of a resolution, enclosed, setting up a separate fund or <br /> account to track the use of franchise fees.
