Each scenario will describe the proposed <br /> work and will include an Estimate of Cost, predicted energy savings, projected payback <br /> period and applicable NSP program. <br /> 4. Preparation of recommendations for energy saving operation and maintenance <br /> procedures for various equipment. <br /> 5. Assembly of the information, analysis and recommendations into a bound report for <br /> presentation to the City. <br /> Major work tasks to be performed for the completion of the above work include: <br /> • Review of NSP program documentation <br /> • Field inspection of each site <br /> • Heating plant efficiency testing <br /> • Site meetings with City staff <br /> • Report preparation <br /> • City review and final presentation <br /> Completion of this study will involve extensive work by our subconsultants. Kaeding and <br /> Associates will provide electrical engineering services and Wentz Associates will provide <br /> mechanical engineering services. The performance of some work tasks will require access to City <br /> facilities and may involve minor assistance for City personnel. <br /> Compensation for our services will be a fee based on our payroll cost times a factor of 2.24 for <br /> services rendered by our personnel engaged directly on the project plus reimbursable expenses <br /> including subconsultant's, mileage and equipment rental. We estimate this fee to be $ <br /> We will bill you monthly for services and reimbursable expenses. The above financial <br /> arrangements are based on the basis of prompt payment of our bills and the orderly and <br /> continuous progress of the project. <br /> We would expect to start our services promptly after receipt of your acceptance of this proposal <br /> and submit preliminary documents for review within 120 days. As previously discussed, the <br /> measurement of heating plant efficiency will be delayed until the heating season to achieve the <br /> most accurate results. Services are to be rendered in the customary phase which, together with <br /> the general understandings applicable to our relationship with you, are set forth in the <br /> Agreement. Your particular responsibilities are also set forth in the Agreement. <br />
