Mounds View Planning Commission August 3 , 1994 <br /> Regular Meeting Page 2 <br /> Motion/Second: Nelson/Miller to approve <br /> Resolution No. 395-94 regarding the <br /> variance request of Townsedge Terrace <br /> Mobile Home Park, 5001 Old Highway 8 . <br /> The Planning Commission inquired as to <br /> using the old water tower property for <br /> construction of a storm shelter. <br /> Planner Harrington informed the <br /> Commission that this property has two <br /> water mains running through it which <br /> precludes any construction on the site. <br /> 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> (Commissioner Colleen arrived at 7:40 <br /> p.m .) <br /> The applicant, Mr. David Tanner, was 6 . Consideration <br /> present. of Resolution <br /> No. 396-94 <br /> Planning Harrington reminded the Regarding <br /> Planning Commission that this item had ; Conditional Use <br /> been discussed at their July 20th Agenda Permit Request <br /> Session. Mr. Harrington reviewed of David <br /> Resolution No. 396-94 explaining that Tanner, 7935 <br /> the applicant is requesting a Sunnyside Road, <br /> conditional use permit to allow for an Planning Case <br /> oversized garage. He also explained No. 388-94 <br /> that in order for the applicant to keep <br /> the existing shed on his property, the <br /> proposed garage could not exceed 1, 000 <br /> square feet. Planner Harrington <br /> clarified that the 1, 264 maximum square <br /> footage allowed by Code is the <br /> combination of both garage and shed <br /> areas . <br /> Motion/Second: Nelson/Ruggles to <br /> approve Resolution No. 396-94 , <br /> recommending approval of the conditional <br /> use permit request of David Tanner, 7935 <br /> Sunnyside Road. <br /> Motion Carried <br /> 6 ayes 0 nays <br /> Mr. Tanner expressed his concern <br /> regarding his proposed workshop addition <br />
