Ulrich noted <br /> 7 that the City had agreed to pay $35, 569. 31 for wider sidewalks and <br /> 8 $75, 884. 00 for some local watermain and sewer work. Ulrich <br /> 9 presented the total due to Ramsey County as $827, 890.88 . <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Councilmember Quick asked if the tree had been replaced that had <br /> 12 inadvertently been removed by the County. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Ulrich stated that he would check on that particular tree. Ulrich <br /> 15 reported that MSA trees would be replaced through the project. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Mayor Linke read a letter from the Ramsey County Director of Public <br /> 18 Works commending the efforts of Mike Ulrich, Bill Hanggi and Jim <br /> 19 Hess on their helpfulness and cooperation with regards to the Long <br /> 20 Lake Road Project. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Mayor Linke commended Mr. Ulrich, Mr. Hanggi and Mr. Hess for their <br /> 23 work on this project and reaffirmed that their work is appreciated. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Quick to Approve Payment to Ramsey County for <br /> 26 the City's Portion of the Cost of Reconstruction of Long Lake Road <br /> 27 <br /> 28 VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 29 <br /> 30 REPORTS <br /> 31 <br /> 32 1. Report of Councilmembers: <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Councilmember Quick - No report. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Councilmember Blanchard <br /> 37 - Will be attending meeting at the arsenal concerning what is <br /> 38 going to be done with the arsenal property. Blanchard stated <br /> 39 that she wants to know how it would impact the City. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Councilmember Wuori: <br /> 42 - Will be attending meeting. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Councilmember Trude: <br /> 45 - Will be attending the meeting. Meeting is at 6: 30 p.m. at <br /> 46 the main administration building. Enter the arsenal through <br /> 47 Gate 3 which is across from the lumber yard. <br /> 48 <br /> 49 - Councilmember Trude also asked if the Council had announced <br /> 50 that the City had received the grant for the pedestrian <br /> 51 bridge which Mayor Linke affirmed that it was. <br /> 52 <br /> 53 <br /> 54 <br />
