COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT <br /> SHERWOOD ESTATES PLAT <br /> In July, Ken Sjodin approached the Council with a request for the development of a <br /> group of land parcels in the area of Highway 10 and Spring Lake Road. At the time <br /> the Council reviewed the request, Mr. Sj,din was in the process of reviewing the <br /> wetland considerations with the Rice Creek Watershed District. He has now <br /> completed that review process and is ready to again meet with the City Council. I <br /> anticipate this item being discussed in depth at the October Work Session. <br /> FALL CLEAN-UP DAY <br /> Staff is in the process of organizing a fall clean-up day similar to the one held in <br /> May. A meeting with representatives of the County regarding use of SCORE funds <br /> to offset the costs of the clean-up is scheduled for next week. Staff will also be <br /> discussing the use of those funds for an intern to handle the recycling. <br /> Also, Staff will be meeting with Karl Bowman of ARCA Minnesota, Inc. to <br /> coordinate an appliance pickup in conjunction with the clean-up day. ARCA <br /> Minnesota is the company that conducted the appliance pickup last year. <br /> Paul H. <br />
