The project calls for the surfacing of <br /> approximately 90, 000 square feet of currently unimproved property for use <br /> as parking and staging area. Also, the applicant would like - to add <br /> approximately 3500 square feet to the existing loading dock area. The <br /> building addition would add 17 bays to the existing 34 currently available <br /> at the facility. <br /> Staff has had a meeting with the City Engineer to conduct a preliminary <br /> review of the project and its storm water runoff impacts. According to the <br /> Engineer, the plan, as submitted, provides for adequate storm water control <br /> and discharge from the site. In addition, Staff has referred the applicant <br /> to Kate Drewry at the Rice Creek Watershed District to discuss possible <br /> permitting requirements at that Agency. Staff is still awaiting word from <br /> RCWD on the project. <br /> The Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed this item and recommended <br /> approval in Resolution No. 401-94 . Please note that the Planning <br /> Commission approval is contingent upon RCWD approval of the project. Staff <br /> has prepared the attached Resolution for consideration by the City Council. <br /> I have prepared an area map for reference purposes. • Staff will be bringing <br /> the set of plans received for the project to the Meeting.
