CABLE TV: <br /> * The Cable Committee will be meeting Friday morning to plan the combined <br /> November/December holiday show of "A View From the Mound". <br /> * The grant for a new character generator has been awarded. <br /> FORESTRY: <br /> * Rick and crew planted 20 trees in the area of the new ballfield and police drive <br /> at City Hall. These trees will be shade for the ballfield and offers landscaping <br /> for the police addition. <br /> * Although the job is not completed, work has begun on the other side of City <br /> Hall front. This will be prepped for Spring planting. <br /> * Rick is contracting some city trimming to be done by the contracted tree <br /> services - along boulevards, etc. <br /> Mary S. <br /> POLICE <br /> * We had a relatively quiet Halloween night. No kids stealing <br /> candy, no candy tampering, not much vandalism.
