4 <br /> COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT <br /> limmimilmiimmiimm) <br /> 7618 EDGEWOOD PROPERTY <br /> Work began this week on the four-plex located at 7618 Edgewood Drive. Pursuant <br /> to the abatement order, Staff contacted a garbage disposal company and ridded <br /> the site of the trash that had been accumulating around the dumpster enclosure on <br /> the property. Also, a locksmith will be on-site on Friday to change the locks on all <br /> the doors. This will allow the City access to the building at all times in order to <br /> make the ordered repairs. Keys to the individual apartments will be provided to the <br /> appropriate tenants. Staff hopes to have the entire project completed in the next <br /> month. <br /> WOODLAWN TERRACE MEETING <br /> Staff will be meeting with the tenants and management of Woodlawn Terrace <br /> Apartments this evening (Thursday) regarding the on-going disagreements between <br /> the two parties. City Staff has met with the representatives of the two parties on <br /> two previous occasions to try and work out problems both are experiencing. A <br /> representative of the Police Department will be present at this evenings meeting to <br /> discuss what problems can be handled by their officers. Staff will keep the Council <br /> abreast of all issues raised in this and all ensuing meetings. <br /> Paul <br />
