Consideration of Adoption of Resolution No. 4664 Approving <br /> 7 Feasibility Study and Plans and Specifications, Authorizing <br /> 8 Execution of Petition and Waiver Agreement, Ordering <br /> 9 Improvement Project No. 94-6, and Awarding a Contract Therefor <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, explained <br /> 12 that State Law and City Ordinances require that people who <br /> 13 have the availability to hook up to Municipal Sanitary Sewer <br /> 14 must do so and eliminate any type of septic system located on <br /> 15 their property. Owners of the property located at 7604 Spring <br /> 16 Lake Road have approached the City regarding the possibility <br /> 17 of assessing the charge for hook-up. Harrington cited the <br /> 18 other properties within the City that previously had that <br /> 19 charge assessed. Because the hook-up is a State requirement, <br /> 20 the City wants to help the residents to be able to meet that <br /> 21 requirement. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Harrington reported that he had prepared all documents and <br /> 24 sketches required to proceed with a special assessment. He <br /> 25 has discussed the item with the City Attorney and City Finance <br /> 26 Director. This item is very similar to the ones the City has <br /> 27 done in the past. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Blanchard to Adopt Resolution No. 4664 <br /> 30 Approving Feasibility Study and Plans and Specifications, <br /> 31 Authorizing Execution of Petition and Waiver Agreement, <br /> 32 Ordering Improvement Project No. 94-6, and Awarding a Contract <br /> 33 Therefor <br /> 34 <br /> 35 VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 36 <br /> 37 E. Consideration of Resolution No. 4672 Approving the Minor <br /> 38 Subdivision Request of the Estate of Arlien Newton, 8300 <br /> 39 Fairchild Avenue, Planning Case No. 322-91 <br /> 40 <br /> 41 Paul Harrington explained that in 1991 the City Council <br /> 42 approved a Lot Combination for the property owned by the <br /> 43 Estate of Arlien Newton. At that time, the representatives of <br /> 44 the estate indicated they would want to further subdivide the <br /> 45 property in the future. They would now like to subdivide the <br /> 46 property that was shown on the original Certificate of Survey <br /> 47 shown as Tract A. <br /> 48 <br /> 49 Harrington said that he had provided Councilmembers with all <br /> 50 pertinent information and noted the two contingencies: <br />
