Trees offer other environmental assets including <br /> shade for cooling, air filtration, bird sanctuaries, barriers for <br /> pedestrian traffic, sight lines and other uses. <br /> TREE D-I-SEASE CONTROL - provides city-wide inspection-of-trees to---- <br /> detect diseased trees for treatment or removal to eliminate the <br /> ;spread of predominately fungus and insect spread tree diseases <br /> and to nullify conditions which host disease causes ie. woodpile <br /> insp tions, gypsy moth migration, tree root transfers, etc. <br /> C LE CASTING CITY MEETINGS - is a program to increase citizen <br /> wareness of city government functions with the cable casting of <br /> City Council meetings and other special meetings.
