Approximate cost is $11, 000.
3 PAVE GREENFIELD PARK PATH - Paving the path will provide for
multi-use activity, make the path more accessible to those
with handicaps, and would require much less maintenance.
Approximate cost is $50, 000.
. 4 HEIGHTEN THE OUTFIELD FENCE AT GREENFIELD PARK BASEBALL
FIELD - For the same reasons previously stated, this
ballfield would benefit from taller outfield fencing.
Approximate cost, $12, 000.
1998
• * IMPROVE LAMBERT PARK BUILDING - Install indoor restroom
facility. This would also provide for water service in the
building which is a great benefit when running children' s
programs. Estimated cost is $15, 000.
1999
* REPLACE RANDOM PARK PLAY EQUIPMENT - This play equipment is
old. In addition, since Random Park has become the park
facility where all the Preschool Programs are held Mondays
through Thursdays. Preschool age equipment would be much
more appropriate for this park than the current equipment.
Approximate cost is $35, 000 .
2000
* REPLACE GROVELAND PARK PLAY EQUIPMENT - Play equipment has a
longevity of 10 - 15 years. This play equipment is has
extended its longevity and has had extensive use over the
years. Many parts are replacement parts, or make-shift
parts. The play equipment needs replacement.
PARK MAINTENANCE:
1996
* REPLACE CUSHMAN VEHICLE - This vehicle is due for
replacement as per the Equipment Replacement Plan.
Estimated cost is $16, 000.
1997
* NEW PRINTER - Parks Workers currently use an old dot matrix
printer that is far outdated. Since Parks Workers use the
computer more frequently for reports, inventory, letters,
memorandums, etc. it would be feasible to provide a new
printer.
