* Staff is working on an "Informational Packet" for the water meter changeout <br /> proposal. This will be sent to the residents within the next couple of weeks. <br /> * Congratulations to the Park Seasonals for passing their Commercial Drivers <br /> License Exams! <br /> * Wally has been inspecting a residential sewer service repair for the past 2 <br /> days. The contractor is not very knowledgeable and Wally is ensuring that the <br /> homeowner receives the proper repair. (The homeowner is very grateful to <br /> Wally for helping out as much as he has.) <br /> Mike <br /> Cuilimmommm...)COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT <br /> Pete has established a phone book recycling program. A bin, provided by U.S. West, <br /> located at the Public Works parking lot is available for people to drop their phone <br /> books off so they can be recycled. <br /> At the City's booth at the Festival in the Park, CommonBond Communities displayed <br /> a picture of the new Silver Lake Point Apartments. Lots of people stopped with <br /> questions and/or comments about the property. CommonBond now has two units <br /> completed to show prospective renters; and tomorrow (Friday) Cathy and I will have <br /> the opportunity to walk through the completed units as well as the rest of the <br /> building. <br /> JENNIFER BERGMAN <br /> POLICE <br /> * GOOD NEWS!!! GOOD NEWS!! Bob will NOT be having surgery. After <br /> further tests and review, it was decided to continue on medication to correct <br /> the problem. Bob will return to work on Friday. <br />
