Administrator's Review/Recommendation: - No comments to supplement this report - Comments attached. Explanation/Summary (attach supplement sheets as necessary.) 'SUMMARY; Mayor Linke recently attended a meeting with representatives of Metro cities, the Metropolitan Council and staff. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the Metropolitan Council's implementation of the 1995 Metropolitan Livable Communities Act. One of the results of the meeting was the creation of a Livable Communities Advisory Committee whose purpose would be to advise the Metropolitan Council on the issues facing Metro area cities in their plight to expand, develop and maintain livable housing opportunities in their cities. The Mayor has suggested that the City formally put forth the name of Jennifer Bergman, Mounds View Housing Inspector/Coordinator, as a candidate for appointment to the Committee.
