Her topic is "Leading From the Soul." Lynnette Appraisal of Highway 10 Property: • We have contracted with an appraiser who has worked for the Cities of New Brighton and Fridley to do an appraisal of the Blue House on the corner of County Road I and Highway 10. We should have the appraisal by the end of the week to be presented to the EDA at the August work session. Business Loan Program: • Mounds View businesses are hearing about the Business Loan Program. We have had 2-3 inquiries regarding the program. I scheduled a meeting with the owners of Mister Donut and Western Bank to discuss improvements to the property. One of the reasons that the property has not been improved is due to the buyout of Mister Donuts by Dunkin Donut. Apparently, several of the Mister Donut's nationwide will now be entering into a co-op to be called the Donut Connection. This will allow them to continue using Mister Donut products rather than switching to the Dunkin Donut products. They are now ready to make the change and are looking for a loan to do this. North Metro Business Retention & Development Commission: • We now have a draft of the analysis of the data for the 5 communities that participated in the program. It is a monster of a document and needs some distilling before it is ready for public eyes. The working group, of which I am a member, will be meeting every two weeks to prioritize the information and make
