Both plans renewal date is <br /> May 1, 1995. <br /> • Work began on the Long Term Financial Plan in mid April. Department heads and <br /> other budget preparers completed their first drafts in early May. <br /> • First quarter utility bills were prepared and mailed the last week of April. <br /> • Mike Ulrich & I met with representatives of Water Products & Sensus Technologies in <br /> late May and discussed financing options for water meters. <br /> • Work was completed on the 1994 financial statements and annual audit in the latter <br /> part of May. The auditors attended the June 5 Work Session and presented the <br /> financial statements and their management letter. <br /> • The City's experience modifier for workers compensation insurance was been changed <br /> to .72 from .75 for our 1996/1996 policy. That means an additional 3% discount off <br /> standard premiums. Thank you to Public Works & Police for their good safety <br /> records. <br /> • A special mailing was sent to utility customers, to remind them of the City's new <br /> collection policy, in early June. <br /> R.EC,OMMENDATION: <br />
