Consideration of Resolution No. 4795, Hiring of Recording <br /> 2 Secretary, Staff Report No. 95-1418C <br /> 3 <br /> 4 Samantha Orduno, City Administrator reported that the contract <br /> 5 with Time Savers Off-Site Secretarial Services expired. <br /> 6 Orduno stated that because of the high cost associated with <br /> 7 Time Savers, the City advertised for a local person to record <br /> 8 the minutes. Orduno reported that Tamara Saefke had applied, <br /> 9 who is presently a Commission Secretary for the City of <br /> 10 Fridley, recommends Ms. Saefke to the Council for the position <br /> 11 of Recording Secretary to the Council. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Hankner to Adopt Resolution No. 4795 <br /> 14 Approving the Hiring of Tamara Saefke as Recording Secretary <br /> 15 <br /> 16 VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br /> 19 B. Consideration of Resolution No. 4797 Formally Recommending and <br /> 20 Supporting Appointment of Jennifer Bergman, Mounds View <br /> 21 Housing Inspector/Coordinator, to the Metropolitan Council's <br /> 22 Livable Communities Advisory Committee, Staff Report No. 95- <br /> 23 1419C <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Mayor Linke reported that he had become aware of this <br /> 26 Committee while attending a meeting with the Metro cities, the <br /> 27 Metropolitan Council and staff felt that it would be best to <br /> 28 have a representative from the City on the Metropolitan <br /> 29 Livable Communities Advisory Committee. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Mayor Linke felt that Jennifer Bergman would be the best <br /> 32 candidate for appointment to the Committee. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 MOTION/SECOND: Linke/Blanchard to Adopt Resolution No. 4797 <br /> 35 Recommending and Supporting the Appointment of Jennifer <br /> 36 Bergman, Housing Inspector/Coordinator, to the Metropolitan <br /> 37 Council's Livable Communities Advisory Committee <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Mayor Linke stated that the Metropolitan Council was asked to <br /> 40 appoint persons to this Committee. Councilmember Trude asked <br /> 41 who represented the City.
