There will be another one coming up in late <br /> 30 October. There are presently two plans that have been introduced at a <br /> 31 committee level that Congressman Bruce Vento has overseen. Both of <br /> 32 those plans use about 40% to 45% of this space for recreational and <br /> 33 open space use. If anyone is interested in this issue, they will have an <br /> 34 opportunity to hear more at the October meeting which she will try to <br /> 35 publicize. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 2. Report of Mayor Linke: Mayor Linke stated that the North Metro Mayors <br /> 38 Association will be holding a North Government Summit II on October 18th, <br /> 39 at 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn North in Brooklyn Center. He recommended that <br /> 40 council members see if they are able to attend this meeting. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 3. Report of Administrator: Ms. Orduno stated she received a letter on Friday, <br /> 43 September 8th from Dan Landstrom who is the Ramsey County District Court <br /> 44 Administrator which stated effective October 3, 1995 all New Brighton in-court <br /> 45 proceedings will be transferred to the Maplewood Court location for handling and <br /> 46 disposition. The District Court has decided to close the New Brighton court for <br /> 47 any in-court activity. <br /> 48 <br /> 49 Mayor Linke stated he spoke with the Mayor of Shoreview and New Brighton and <br /> 50 the County Commissioner,none of whom were aware of this prior to Friday. <br />
