During the period we purchased the property, Mister Donut of America <br /> had sold its interest to Dunkin Donuts. Initially we opted to join Dunkin <br /> until Mister Donut franchisees formed the Mid-Alanta Bakery Co-op <br /> (Now called Donut Connection). <br /> In the part our actions were to stay afloat at the expense of building <br /> maintenance, equipment, new products, hiring of additional employee <br /> and community involvement. Now that we are current in all areas, it is <br /> time for us to focus on the future and beyond. <br /> Donut Connection, in our opinion, is the turning point for Forcia Inc. <br /> With Donut Connection we_will h?vP_the_advantages-o f ise <br /> without the high costs of franchising. <br /> In addition to the non-existing franchise fees, we will immediately see an <br /> approximate 5-6% savings in our food costs. We will have an unlimited <br /> and unrestricted product line with many new local suppliers formally <br /> unapproved by Mister Donut. <br /> We will expand our regular bakery items to include refrigerated items <br /> such as cream puffs, eclairs, filled horns, etc. We would also expand our <br /> cake decorating abilities adding cakes available for every day purchasing <br /> as well as for special occasions and wedding cakes. Adding a fat-free <br /> product line as well as cappuccino and flavored coffees will add more <br /> choices making it easier to satisfy a larger variety of people. In addition, <br /> a new increased menu line consisting of products such as soups, subs, <br /> bagel sandwiches, croissant sandwiches and ice cream will increase sales <br /> during the afternoon, evening and late night hours. <br /> With an expanded menu, round the clock hours and the convenience of <br /> our drive thru, we will serve the community with a fresh, quality product <br /> anytime day or night. <br /> With Donut Connection, we look forward to seeing what advertising <br /> strategies lie ahead. Having been voted as the most outstanding new <br /> advertising logo for 1995, we feel we are off to a great start.
