The City's computer consultant and the <br /> FreeNet consultant concluded the City should upgrade the file server to a 75 megahertz Pentium <br /> processor and 2 gig hard drives. The estimated cost from Zeos is $3,453.10 plus an additional <br /> $400-$500 for the cost of these two items. <br /> The MIS committee researched the City's current, future and on-going computer and <br /> communications needs to determined the uniform standard for all hardware and software <br /> applications. It is recommended that standard word processing and spreadsheet applications to be <br /> Word Perfect 6.1 for Windows and Lotus Release 5 for Windows.
