RESOLUTION NO. 4844 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION DIRECTING STAFF TO COORDINATE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE <br /> PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE PROJECT THE REMOVAL OF THE STORM WATER DETENTION <br /> POND AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF HIGHWAY 10 AND LONG LAKE ROAD <br /> WHEREAS;the engineenng and design firms who presented proposals to thCity of <br /> Mounds View suggested that the City would benefit from removal of the storm water <br /> detention pond at the Northwest corner of Long Lake Road and Highway 10; and <br /> WHEREAS, removal of the pond, in conjunction with the bridge project would improve <br /> the accessibility of the bridge and the general appearance of the area; and <br /> WHEREAS, City staff considers the project feasible but needs to retain engineering <br /> services to coordinate this project with the pedestrian bridge construction; and <br /> WHEREAS, BRW, Inc. has the staff available to coordinate the project with the <br /> pedestrian bridge project. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council directs staff to further <br /> investigate with BRW, Inc., the coordination of the pedestrian bridge project with the removal <br /> of the storm water detention pond at the Northwest corner of Long Lake Road and Highway <br /> 10 and report back to the City Council with proposals and cost estimates. <br /> Adopted this 13th day of November, 1995. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> City Administrator <br />
