Explanation/Summar -(attar-1-sapplemeat sheets-es-necessary) - - TTMMARY; Brian Daniels has made application for a Conditional Use permit for an oversize garage on his property at 7280 Silver Lake Road. Chapter 1106.04, Subdivision 6 of the Mounds View Municipal Code allows garages up to 1,264 square feet with the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit. Mr. Daniels' garage - which has already been constructed - totals 1,248 square feet. As constructed, the garage meets all applicable requirements of the Municipal Code including height, width, setbacks, etc. The Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed this request and recommended approval. Please note that their recommendation includes removal of a small (100 sq. ft. ) shed which is currently located on the property. The Municipal• Code states that when garages exceed 1,000 sq. ft. , no additional accessory buildings are allowed on the property. Staff has spoken with the applicant regarding this contingency and he has no problem with it. I have included all materials received as part of this application for your consideration. I have also attached Resolution No. 4851 for your consideration.
