FORESTRY: <br /> * Rick and crew will be trimming a few select boulevards which have overhanging tree <br /> limbs. This small budgeted amount of time will only scratch the surface of boulevard <br /> tree trimming that is necessary. <br /> * Rick had planned on moving approximately 4 trees this week but because the tree <br /> spade is broken down, it looks like time will be spent in repairs instead. <br /> GOLF COURSE: <br /> * I have prepared-an-informationpacketfor-Eff=tive G•olf-Cour e-SystemJohn is <br /> delivering the packet to them for review. We will be meeting with them this week to <br /> provide any additional information that they may need in order to evaluation <br /> operations. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS <br /> * On November 15, the radio contractor came in and checked all of radio's in the <br /> vehicles and equipment. (This is the first step in obtaining a new radio system.) <br /> * The Sewer Department is televising the sewer lines and recording all of the pertinent <br /> data in the new inspection software. <br /> * The Phoneread system will be up and running again, November 27th. <br /> * Mike is working on the specifications for the purchase of the 1996 dump truck. We <br /> are able to work off of the State bid and if all goes well, the city should be able to <br /> purchase a 96 truck at 95 prices. <br /> * Bacons Electric installed a new starter at Well 6, and has begun working on Well 5, <br /> November 15. <br /> * Mike will be attending a Drug and Alcohol Seminar, November 16 and then after <br /> that, he will be attending the MPWA Fall Conference.
