Use- Permit sPermit Request Motion/Second: Nelson/Miller to approve of Colonial Resolution No. 410-95 as amended, Village recommending approval of a conditional Manufactured use permit to allow display and sale of Home Park, 2075 model homes at Colonial Village Rustad Lane, Manufactured Home Park. Planning Case No. 391-94 The Planning Commission deliberated on the question of how many model homes could be available for sale at any one time. It was questioned as to whether or not the park should be restricted on the number of new or used homes displayed for sale. Planning Associate Pruitt informed the Commission that she spoke with the City Attorney who advised her that a model home is defined as new or used. Mr. Liggett explained to the Planning Commission that State law requires that the seller of a manufactured home provide the buyer with a statement, known as a safety disclosure, verifying that the home is up to Code. Mr. Liggett also expressed that it is to the City's advantage to grant this request because it would upgrade the park. He further expressed that the primary goal of management is to keep the park full. Further discussion again ensued by the Planning Commission on the number of homes that would be allowed to be available for sale at any one time. The Planning Commission concurred that the number of homes offered for sale shall not exceed six percent of the licensed lots in the park. The Commission requested that the applicant provide, on
