If a request <br /> for a hearing is received, the City Administrator <br /> may not shut off service until the hearinct has been <br /> held and then only at the direction of the City <br /> Council. If a request for hearing is not timely <br /> received, the City Administrator may shut off the <br /> water service as of the date specified in the <br /> notice. <br /> Subd. 4 . Emergency Shut-Off: The procedure in subdivision 3 <br /> does not apply to water _shut-o-f-f----in--case- of an <br /> emergency. <br /> Sec. 3 . Section 906. 13 , Subd. 7, of the Mounds View <br /> Municipal Code is amended to read: <br /> Subd. 7. Delinquent Bills; Lien: In the event a water or <br /> sewer bill is unpaid at the cnd of the calcndar <br /> quarter of the billing period undcr which the <br /> billing is 3cnt out by the due date, a reminder <br /> notice shall be sent to the customer. If payment <br /> in full is not received by the City within (10) <br /> days after the reminder notice is sent, the bill <br /> shall be considered delinquent, and the service may <br /> be discontinued as provided in Gubdivision section <br /> 906. 11 (2) abovc -and the Council may cause the <br /> charges noted in such billing to become a lien <br /> against the property served by certifying to the <br /> County the amount of said delinquent bill. <br /> Sec. 4 .
