MAY 31 '95 14:51 HOLMES & GRAVEN Pea <br />ORDINANCE NO. 95- <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PEDDLERS, SOLICITORS <br />AND TRANSIENT MERCHANTS AND AMENDING CHAPTER <br />504, SECTIONS 504.06 AND 504.13 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW <br />CITY CODE <br />The City of Mounds View ordains: <br />Section 1. Section 504.06, subdivision 5, of the Mounds View City Code is <br />amended to read: <br />Subd. 5. Exhibition of Permit: Permittees are required to exhibit <br />their permit at the request of any citizen. Transient merchants <br />must display their permit in a conspicuous place on their <br />premises. <br />Sec. 2. Section 504.13 of the Mounds View City Code is amended to read: <br />504.13: UNINVITED PEDDLING OR SOLICITING PROHIBITED: It <br />is hereby declared to be the policy of this City that the occupant <br />or occupants of the premises approached for solicitation can <br />determine whether or not the peddlers or solicitors shall be, or <br />shall not be, invited to their respective residence. Any peddler <br />or solicitor must immediately and peacefully leave any property <br />where the property owner has posted a "No peddlers or <br />solicitors" sign. Any peddler or solicitor who has gained <br />entrance to any residence, whether invited or not, shall <br />immediately and peacefully depart from the premises when <br />requested to do so by the occupant. <br />Sec. 3. Section 504.06 of the Mounds View City Code is amended by adding <br />a new subdivision to read: <br />Subd. 6 . Hours: Peddlers and solicitors may conduct their business <br />only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. <br />Sec. 4.
