EDC RESOLUTION NO. 95-EDC8 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ACTION STEPS IN RESPONSE TO THE NORTH <br />METRO BUSINESS RETENTION AND DEVELOPMENT SURVEY FOR <br />CONSIDERATION BY THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />WHEREAS, throughout 1994, Mounds View participated in the North Metro Business <br />Retention and Development Program, and <br />WHEREAS, over 100 Mounds View businesses participated in a two part survey process <br />that included a 10 page written questionnaire and a personal interview, and <br />WHEREAS, all immediate issues that resulted from the survey were addressed by the <br />Mounds View Economic Development Coordinator, and <br />WHEREAS, aggregate results of the survey were reviewed by members of the Economic <br />Development Commission, and <br />WHEREAS, The Economic Development Commission's mission includes the promotion <br />of a positive economic climate which retains and expands existing businesses; and <br />WHEREAS, twelve action steps were developed by the Economic Development <br />Commission in response to the overall results of the survey as outlined in Attachment A. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Economic Development <br />Commission hereby approves the action steps in response to the North Metro Business <br />Retention and Development Survey results for consideration by the Economic Development <br />Authority per attachment A. <br />Adopted by the Economic Development Commission of the City of Mounds View this <br />25th day of May, 1995. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Chair <br />Economic Development Coordinator <br />
