RESOLUTION NO. 4767 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION REQUESTING REALLOCATION OF CDBG FUNDS <br /> WHEREAS, the process for distribution of CDBG funds was changed for 1995;___ _ _ <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, this change has promise for a more equitable and accountable <br /> method of distribution in the future, but further review of the process highlights the <br /> needs for some modifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, this year's process has put our desire to meet the housing needs <br /> of low to moderate income constituents in competition with the social service needs <br /> of these same constituents; and <br /> WHEREAS, we believe this violates the intent of the stated CDBG priorities and <br /> we believe the following request to be within the intent of those priorities. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View requests that the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners act to <br /> reallocate $100,000 of CDBG funds to apply toward the capital request of Northwest <br /> Youth and Family Services; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that $50,000 of the contingency amount set aside <br /> by Ramsey County CDBG be applied in a like manner. <br /> Adopted this 8th day of May, 1995. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> City Administrator <br />
