RESOLUTION NO. 4746 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE UNION CONTRACT AND THE 1995 COMPENSATION <br /> SCHEDULE AND INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION SCHEDULE FOR POLICE UNION <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View and the Police Union, Local 320, could not reach <br /> agreement in 1994, and <br /> WHEREAS, it was mutually decidedto-enter--into-arbitration-to settle-1994-and-1995 <br /> issues, and <br /> WHEREAS, the 1994 award was approved by the City Council at the 3/27/95 Council <br /> meeting, and <br /> WHEREAS, the 1995 Police Union Compensation Schedule is presented which reflects a <br /> 2.50% annual compensation adjustment, which is consistent with the award of the <br /> arbitrator; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is proposed that the City continue to make a contribution toward the cost of <br /> employee health insurance. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. The Police Union contract for 1994 and 1995 be approved, effective 1/1/94 to <br /> 12/31 95, and <br /> 2. The 1995 base wage for Police Union personnel shall be as specified in the 1995 <br /> Compensation Schedule A, effective 1/1/95, and <br /> 3. The City shall make a contribution of up to $330/month (Schedule E) towards the <br /> cost of family health insurance and shall pay the entire premium for full-time single <br /> health insurance coverage, effective 1/1/95. <br /> 4. The City shall increase the contribution for uniforms from $495 per year to $510 <br /> per year per the arbitrator's award, effective 1/1/95. <br /> Adopted this 24th day of April, 1995. <br /> ATTEST <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> SEAL <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator <br />
