�pptl Agenda Section: 11.I <br /> REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION Report Number: 95-1313C <br /> 111706 Report Date: 4-20-95 <br /> STAFF REPORT Council Action: <br /> ; ❑ Special Order of Business <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE April 24, 1995 Public Hearings <br /> ❑ <br /> ❑ Consent Agenda <br /> I Council Business <br /> Item Description: <br /> Consideration of Resolution No. 4754 Approving Compensation Adjustments for <br /> Non—Union Personnel and Position Reclassification <br /> Administrator's Review/Recommendation: <br /> - No comments to supplement this report <br /> - Comments attached. <br /> Explanation/Summary (attach supplementsheetsas necessary.) - <br /> $UMMARY; <br /> Due to the arbitration of the 1994 and 1995 Police Contract, the 1995 <br /> compensation adjustments for non-union personnel were delayed, pending the <br /> arbitration award which was released in March, 1995. <br /> Attached for your review are two copies of Resolution No.4754; one copy <br /> approves a 3% 1995 compensation adjustment and the second copy approves a <br /> 2 . 95% 1995 compensation adjustment. The two copies are provided as two <br /> separate compensation options that have been discussed by the Council at! <br /> prior Work Sessions. Both Resolutions provide for the three positions <br /> reclassifications that were also discussed at previous Council Work <br /> Sessions: <br /> Current Position Position Reclassification <br /> Public Works Sec. B Public Works Sec. A <br /> Eng. Aide 2 . 5 Eng. Aide 3 .5 1 <br /> Housing Intern Housing Inspector <br /> The current and proposed compensation schedules for the two positions <br /> listed above are attached. <br /> A fourth position reclassification included is the Golf Course Manager. <br /> Kurt Johnson's resignation as the Golf Course Manager/Superintendent <br /> prompted a re-examination of the current management structure of The <br /> Bridges Golf Course.
