A panel consisting of <br /> Mary Burg, Brightwood Hills Golf Course Superintendent in New Brighton, <br /> Kurt Johnson, The Bridges Golf Course Superintendent, Brus Von Ende, the <br /> Bridges Golf Course Manager and I conducted the interviews for the position <br /> on Wednesday, 4/12/95. This is a ten month per year position, from <br /> approximately Mid-December to Mid-February, with an annual salary of <br /> $25, 000 and pro rated benefits. <br /> The eight candidates interviewed were selected from a field of 11 who had <br /> responded to the job advertisement. The advertisement required the <br /> successful candidate to have at least 2 years of post-secondary education <br /> in the area of turf management, business management, recreation or a <br /> related field and 2 years of experience in repair and maintenance work on <br /> golf course. <br /> The interview panel recommends that Mike Mueller be hired to fill this <br /> position. Mr. Mueller has an Associates degree in biology from Bethany <br /> Lutheran College in Mankato and has taken classes in turf management at the <br /> University of Minnesota at Waseca. His work experience has been with the <br /> Montgomery Golf Club, where he has worked for almost seven years, four of <br /> those years as the head superintendent. <br /> Mr. Mueller has demonstrated that he has met all of the requirements of the <br /> position and has an excellent work history which indicates he can perform <br /> the duties and responsibilities of the position. Reference checks have <br /> been completed and are satisfactory. <br /> It is recommended this hire be contingent upon successful completion of a <br /> physical examination and drug and alcohol test. <br /> Oil -2/i , <br /> Tim Cruikshank, Asst.
