She also <br /> 6 questioned if there were other firms which would furnish quotes for <br /> 7 such a system. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Ulrich -replied— that there were no other- firms- that could <br /> 10 furnish this system. He affirmed that approximately 10 or 12 other <br /> 11 communities in the metro area presently use the system and are very <br /> 12 pleased with it. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 MOTION/SECOND: Hankner/Quick to Approve the Purchase and <br /> 15 Adoption of a Pavement Management Program from SEH <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Quick summarized that this program would provide staff and <br /> 18 residents the information and guidance required to maintain the <br /> 19 City's streets. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 22 <br /> 23 I. Consideration of Resolution No. 4729 Appointing Members to the <br /> 24 Joint District 621/City of Mounds View Partnership Task Force <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, offered a review of the <br /> 27 District 621/City Partnership Task Force, advising that the <br /> 28 membership appointments were removed from Resolution No. 4718 at <br /> 29 the February 27 Council meeting to allow for discussion at the <br /> 30 March 6 Work Session. At the March 6 Work Session, Councilmember <br /> 31 Trude was recommended to represent the City Council, Councilmember <br /> 32 Hankner to serve as Commissioner of the Economic Development <br /> 33 Authority, and Dan Nelson to serve as the EDC representative. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Councilmember Quick felt that the word "partnership" should be <br /> 36 changed to "alliance" in the Resolution. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 Councilmember Quick was named as an alternate and <br /> 39 Councilmember Blanchard was named as a second alternate. <br /> 40 <br /> 41 MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Blanchard to Adopt Resolution No. 4729 <br /> 42 Appointing Members and Alternates to the Joint District 621/ <br /> 43 City of Mounds View Alliance Task Force <br /> 44 <br /> 45 VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 46 <br />
