Since this time, preparations for filling this position have taken place including <br /> advertising for a Golf Course Grounds Superintendent. <br /> The vacant, part-time Custodian position was filled in early January. Steve Andert, who is also employed <br /> at the Shoreview Community Center was selected from the group of interested candidates. <br /> POLICY DEVELOPMENT <br /> A Family and Medical Leave Act policy that reflects the Federal, State and City policies regarding this <br /> leave was drafted in January. <br /> Work continues on the upgrading of the job descriptions to include ADA language. <br /> UNION CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS <br /> The arbitrator's award for Union wages and benefits for 1994 and 1995 was received in mid-March. Since <br /> then many Pay Equity runs have been conducted to determine compliance and paperwork completed to <br /> ensure proper backpay is given to Union employees. <br /> RECOMMENDATION; IA 0;194 <br /> Tim Cruikshank, Asst. to City Admin. <br />
