REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION Agenda Section: . 3.
OUNDS
STAFF REPORT Report Number: 94-107RWS
rilf
Date: 12-29-93
AGENDA SESSION DATE January 3, 1994
DISPOSITION
Item Description: Discussion Regarding Pleasantview Drive Signal
Administrator's Review/Recommendation:
- No comments to supplement this report
- Comments attached.
Explanation/Summary (attach supplement sheets as necessary.)
,SUMMARY;
The City of Spring Lake Park is requesting that the Council consider a
joint meeting to continue the discussion regarding the signalization of
Pleasantview Drive. The meeting would also include representatives from
MNDot, Anoka and Ramsey Counties. To date, Anoka County has expressed
interest in the project, but Spring Lake Park has yet to hear a response
from Ramsey County's Department of Public Works. It is their goal to
receive a response prior to a joint meeting of the two councils and other
interested parties.
The senior housing project in Spring Lake Park has been given the required
approvals and construction is expected to begin this Spring. The Council
of Spring Lake Park is asking that this matter proceed to the next level
of discussion, noting that to do so would mean that the City of Mounds View
is interested in providing a portion of the cost.
This item is placed on the agenda to reopen discussion regarding the
Council's desire to proceed.
Adi °-7-) . .Y7 IlLeit."70L49.,
Sama tha Or. o, City Administr. o
K
RECOMMENDATION:
