It had been several years since any in-house recodification had taken place and the Municipal Code had never been recodified professionally. The recodification of the Municipal Code is now complete. Although there were numerous changes made to the code, they were grammatical and reorganizational in nature. If policy changes are to be made, they would need to be approved by Ordinance by the City Council. At the 12/27/93 regular City Council meeting, Ordinance No. 532 , proposing to establish the recodified code as the city's official legal document, was introduced to the Council for consideration. Approval tonight would adopt Ordinance No. 532 . • - As provided by City Charter, Section 3 . 11, a notice of recodification of the Municipal Code is to be published in the official newspaper for two successive weeks.
