Three <br /> easements will need to be acquired on the west side of Quincy Street <br /> north of Hillview Road. The MWCC currently has a surveyor drafting the <br /> legal descriptions for the property involved. Staff will keep the Council <br /> apprised of the situation. <br /> SUBDIVISION SEMINAR <br /> Staff attended a seminar this week hosted by the Minnesota Chapter of <br /> the American Planning Association which dealt with the process of <br /> reviewing and recording Plats. The seminar covered submittal <br /> procedures, agencies included in the review process, guidelines for <br /> subdivision of wetlands, recording procedures and general Plat review. <br /> Staff found the seminar to be very informative and provided some good <br /> ideas for Plat review. <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Due to the inclement weather on January 5, the Planning Commission <br /> meeting scheduled for that date was canceled. The Planning <br /> Commission is tentatively scheduled to meet on January 26 rather than <br />
