EXHIBIT A <br /> TO <br /> AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> A LISTING OF THE DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND <br /> LIMITATIONS OF AUTHORITY OF THE RESIDENT PROJECT <br /> REPRESENTATIVE <br /> This is an Exhibit attached to, made a part of and incorporated by reference with the <br /> Agreement for Professional Services, between the City of Mounds View (OWNER) and <br /> SHORT ELLIOTT HENDRICKSON INC. <br /> If requested by the OWNER or recommended by SEH, and approved in writing by the <br /> other, 1) one or more full time Resident Project Representatives (RPR),experienced in the <br /> type of construction proposed,will be furnished and directed by SEH in order to provide <br /> additional representation at the Project site during the construction phase and, 2) SEH <br /> will provide necessary field survey personnel experienced in the type of construction <br /> proposed to place construction stakes for use by the Contractor in constructing the <br /> project. <br /> Through more extensive on-site observations of the work in progress and field checks of <br /> materials and equipment by the RPR and assistants, SEH shall endeavor to provide <br /> further protection for OWNER against defects and deficiencies in the work of <br /> CONTRACTOR; but, the furnishing of such services will not make SEH responsible for <br /> or give SEH control over construction means, methods, techniques, sequences or <br /> procedures or for safety precautions or programs, or responsibility for CONTRACTOR's <br /> failure to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents and in <br /> particular the specific limitations set forth in Section II.C. of the Agreement. <br /> The duties and responsibilities of the RPR are limited to those of SEH in 1) The <br /> agreement with the OWNER and SEH, and 2) in the construction Contract Documents, <br /> and 3) further limited as follows: <br /> Page No. 14 November 17, 1993 <br />
