■ ■ ■ ■
THlS IS
For the Week of February 7, 1994 - February 11 , 1994
ADMINISTRATION
Amid the dust, the grit, the fumes from the varnish and the NOISE, we are surviving
the City Hall expansion and remodeling - anxious for it all to end so some form of
normalcy (and I use that term loosely) to return.
If all goes well, Administration and Parks and Recreation Departments may be
enjoying their new space within the next two weeks.
This week I spoke to Neil Hamil, the owner of Garmet Graphics, and learned an
interesting tidbit. It seems that Everest has approached him to build a owner-
occupied building for Garmet Graphics on the land formally considered for Multi-
Tech. Neil would not comment on the seriousness of the proposal but did appreciate
hearing that the City would provide any assistance it could to keep Garment Graphics
in Mounds View.
Liberty Check is expanding into one of the Everest buildings in the Business Park
South. The Park South will now be fully leased.
Doug Watson is still finalizing the abstract for the property we are purchasing from
him for the golf course. He is leaving on Thursday for Lillihammer. He has tickets for
several of the key events - he is going to try to get tickets for women's figure skating
but has little hope that he'll succeed something about a little controversy between
two USA skaters?
