RESOLUTION NO. 4510 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> • COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br /> (CDBG) APPLICATION BY CEDAR MANAGEMENT FOR RENTAL REHAB OF <br /> MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING UNIT <br /> WHEREAS, Cedar Management, on behalf of the Sands Apartments, <br /> has made application to Ramsey County for a Community Development <br /> Block Grant to rehabilitate a multi-family housing unit in the City - <br /> of Mounds View; and <br /> WHEREAS, the housing unit in question is one that provides <br /> affordable housing to low-moderate income Mounds View residents; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the improvements would upgrade the windows and patio <br /> doors of apartments to provide for improved energy use; and <br /> WHEREAS, the rehabilitation of the City's rental properties is <br /> consistent with the City's 5 Year Development Plan and FOCUS 2000 <br /> recommendations. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the City Council in and <br /> for the City of Mounds View does hereby formally declare its <br /> support for Cedar Management's CDBG application and urge Ramsey <br /> County to grant approval. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> City Administrator <br />
