The value on the Notice is the value that is used to calculate the tax capacity value of the property. The tax capacity value times the tax capacity rate equals the taxes due on a property. Thus, the Estimated Market Value assigned by the County has a direct impact on the amount of taxes a property owner will pay in 1995.
