Resolution 7593 Awarding Construction Contract for 2010 Well No. 1 & 2 Rehabilitation Project <br />March 22, 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />motor replacement. <br /> <br />City Staff recommends accepting the combined base schedule quote of $79,015. In addition, it is <br />recommended that the City Council consider adding a 5% construction contingency to the quote for <br />minor work associated with unknowns that could occur during construction. This contingency would <br />add an additional $3,950 (5%x$79,015) to the $79,015 for a grand total authorized amount not to <br />exceed $82,965. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council consider adopting Resolution 7593 that will award the <br />construction contract to Keys Well Drilling Company of St. Paul, Minnesota for the 2010 Municipal <br />Well No. 1 & 2 Rehabilitation Project.
