RESOLUTION 7595 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE 2010 STREET AND UTILITY <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – AREA B/C <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 13, 2003 the City Council adopted Resolution 6110 <br />authorizing the preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility Report and consultant selection <br />for the 2003 Street Improvement Project – Phase II, which later became known as the <br />2005 Street Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 14, 2005 the City Council held a Public Hearing on the <br />Feasibility Report for the 2005 Street Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 9, 2005 the City Council adopted Resolution 6520 approving <br />the sufficiency of petition in opposition to the 2005 Street Improvement Project, <br />suspending the project; and <br />WHEREAS, on October 22, 2007 the City Council adopted Resolution 7176 <br />establishing the Street and Utility Improvement Program, which includes nine Street and <br />Utility Improvement Projects identified as Areas A through I; and <br />WHEREAS, Area B of the Street and Utility Improvement Program is the area <br />formerly identified as the 2005 Street Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, Area B of the Street and Utility Improvement Program is scheduled <br />for construction in 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 22, 2008 the City Council adopted Resolution 7339 <br />Authorizing Preliminary Survey Activities for Area C of the Street and Utility <br />Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 9, 2009 the City Council adopted Resolution 7420 <br />authorizing the preparation of a Preliminary Feasibility Report for Area C of the Street <br />and Utility Improvement Program and selecting Bonestroo as the engineering consultant <br />for the project; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2009 the City Council adopted Resolution 7477 <br />approving the Preliminary Feasibility Report for Area C of the Street and Utility <br />Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2009 the City Council adopted Resolution 7478 <br />authorizing preparation of plans and specification for a combined Area B and C of the <br />Street and Utility Improvement Program; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 13, 2009 the City Council adopted Resolution 7479 <br />approving non-standard street design recommendations for Area B and C of the Street <br />and Utility Improvement Program; and
