Review Draft 2010 Goals and Priorities. 5 6 Clerk-Administrator Ericson read the goals and priorities discussed at the February 12, 2010, 7 Council retreat and requested Council input. 8 9 Mayor Flaherty stated a comment had been made about the need to enhance the City’s revenue 10 stream and difficulty to do so in this economic environment. However, he believed it still needed 11 to remain a goal so the City is always looking for that opportunity. 12 13 Council Member Mueller clarified that “enhancing the City’s revenue stream” does not mean the 14 City will increase business or residential taxes. The Council wants to fill vacant buildings and 15 turn over homes in foreclosure so the community gets back to growing again. She stated the City 16 is fortunate that the Council and staff have good ideas, such as grants, to pursue. 17 18 The Council concurred with the goals and policies as presented. 19 20 7. Review March 2010 Work Session Agenda. 21 22 The Council agreed with the suggestion of Council Member Mueller to add the Code of Ethics 23 since it was not discussed at the retreat due to time constraints. 24 25 C. Reports of City Attorney. 26 27 City Attorney Riggs stated his report is included in the Council’s meeting packet. It was noted 28 the City Code is being codified and will be available shortly. 29 30 12.
