Reports of Mayor and Council. 1 <br /> 2 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated the Ramsey County League of Local Government meeting 3 <br />would be held on March 25, 2010, 7:00-8:30 p.m., at the Mound View Community Center. The 4 <br />theme of the meeting would be “Partnering with Non-Profits and Foundations to Strengthen the 5 <br />Community.” 6 <br /> 7 <br /> B. Reports of Staff. 8 <br />1. Announce the Mounds View Town Hall Meeting on March 29, 2010, at 9 <br />Mounds View City Hall. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Clerk-Administrator Ericson announced the Mounds View Town Hall Meeting which is 12 <br />scheduled on March 29, 2010, at the Mounds View City Hall. Postings about the meeting would 13 <br />be noted on the City’s website along with signage throughout the community. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated the benefit of holding the meeting in the Council Chambers 16 <br />allowed for the meeting to be video taped and provided cost savings over holding the meeting in 17 <br />the Community Center. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Community Development Director Roberts noted City received an application for a senior 20 <br />housing development along Highway 10. The developer has submitted preliminary concept plans 21 <br />to the City. This item will go to the Planning Commission on March 17, 2010, and the council 22 <br />Work Session on April5, 2010 for preliminary review and comments. 23 <br /> 24 <br />Director of Public Works DeBar indicated City Hall had some damage to the sheetrock in his 25 <br />office along with roof leakage over the Police Department. He indicated the Council may need 26 <br />to consider replacing the roof later this summer. Staff would present more information to the 27 <br />Council at a future meeting once the roof and grading concerns are examined more closely. 28 <br /> 29 <br />Director of Public Works DeBar explained the City was approved for funding for the Silver Lake 30 <br />Road/County Road 10 road improvements. He estimated the amount to be $80,000. Director of 31 <br />Public Works DeBar indicated the City would begin receiving bids for Area B and C on 32 <br />Thursday and the City expected to receive over 15 bids. 33 <br /> 34 <br />C. Reports of City Attorney. 35 <br /> 36 <br />City Attorney Riggs had nothing to report. 37 <br /> 38 <br />12.
