<br />Item No: 07K <br />Meeting Date: June 14, 2010 <br />Type of Business: CB <br />Administrator Review : ____ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br /> To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> From: Desaree Crane, Assistant City Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br /> Item Title/Subject: Resolution 7632 Approving a Step Increase for Community <br /> Development Director Ken Roberts and a Longevity <br /> Increase for Officer Ben Knitter. <br /> <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Ken Roberts is a current employee with the City of <br />Mounds View. His supervisor, James Ericson, has reviewed his performance as it relates <br />to his responsibilities outlined in the job description. <br /> <br />Officer Ben Knitter (School Resource Officer) is a current employee with the Mounds View <br />Police Department. His supervisor, Interim Police Chief Tom Kinney, has reviewed his <br />performance as it relates to her responsibilities outlined in the job description. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />It was determined that Community Development Director Roberts has satisfactory <br />performed in the capacity of his position, and therefore, a step increase wage adjustment is <br />consistent with the Mounds View Personnel Manual. <br /> <br />Officer Knitter has satisfactorily performed in the capacity of his position, and therefore, a <br />longevity wage adjustment is consistent with the LELS Police Officers Union Contract. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution 7632, approving Community Development <br />Director Robert’s step wage increase and Officer Knitter’s longevity wage increase. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________ <br />Desaree Crane <br />Assistant City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
